The works consist of a proposed roof and a 6 storey side extension creating additional accommodation and extended F&B facilities. Formerly an office building developed by The BBC, this 1970s building has undergone a previous conversion and extension to remodel it into the current hotel.

CRE8 Structures were appointed to undertake an initial assessment of the existing building and explored the possibilities of extending the building upwards and to the rear.
