Taylor House, a redevelopment project was designed to support the growing demand for high-quality, sustainable later living homes, the development delivers modern accommodation that meets the needs of both residents requiring additional care and the wider community. The former Carlton Dene Care Home consisted an existing two storey care home.

Cre8 Structures was appointed as the civil and structural engineering consultant for the project, delivering a cost-effective reinforced concrete structural solution from concept through to construction. Working closely with the architect, contractor and wider design team, we developed an efficient structural design that met the project's technical, commercial and sustainability objectives while supporting a smooth construction process.

The completed development provides high-quality extra care and supported housing alongside affordable general needs accommodation. It also improves the environmental performance of social housing through energy-efficient design while incorporating practical on-site parking.
